To me, the purpose of a college education is to educate you on the skills and knowledge in the desired field you wish to go into. I believe that it also makes you take other classes outside of your field to give you general education skills that you might also need for the future. A college education gives you a boost for your experiences and resume, but it might not prepare you for the real challenges in the world like paying bills and keeping track of your financial problems. college education is good but it is not cutting it for the world today because so many people have that same education. To me, to be educated means to inquiry valuable knowledge that might make your life easier. Education is the key to success and the more you chase it the more successful you'll be. Being educated makes you stand out to employers and makes you more marketable. you can be educated in a lot of other things besides school and education can take you a long way with anything you do. The experiences I had with education that mad me believe this is by observing other people's level of education. I have seen the differences in education from someone who has a lot of it and someone who does not. The different levels of education shows how financially stable a person is but also show how well rounded there personality are. My theory is that education not only makes you skillful in your field, but also prepares you for social development. I have seen that people with less education does not have the tolerance to deal with life's struggles like college graduates do. College put's you through a struggle to prepare you for life, so the more educated you are the better you will be economically and socially
